Order from here regularly as my local one is grim.. and food is always good and delivery id quick but tonight was the best one I’ve had so far from here.. food was pipping hot it was tasty and you could clearly tell the food was cooked in good clean quality water and not greasy in the slightest.. as mentioned I’ve ordered from here in the past and when I think of a chippy it always welcome fish bar best chip shop they is.
Just had our dinner from Welcome Fish Bar Shirebrook. Plenty on the menu to choose from so something for even the fussy eater. Our carryout order was still hot enough to eat when we got home and thankfully they still peal the potatoe's for the chips. Staff were welcoming and chatty while our order was being cooked. i certainly recomend this chippy.
Absolutely brilliant chip shop. Fresh cooked food, very clean and a wide variety of choices all on easy to see tv screens. The owner is a fantastic lady, always smiling and great to chat to whilst in there. Never had a bad meal yet and have been a customer there now for over 17 years.

Visited this delightful looking fish and chips shop for the 1st time yesterday and was very impressed with my initial impression. There were very strict guidelines in place relating to the covid virus. The display was very inviting and a huge choice on the menu. I was served by an extremely polite lady who was very efficient. Arriving home we found the food had travelled well and once we tucked in a decision was quickly made that the food was amongst the best we had ever tasted. Well worth a visit, in fact, a superb place to visit.
Best chippy in Shirebrook by far & they really go out of their way to ensure your food is exactly how you want it. They're really professional, and understanding and really care about your experience. I always order from here.
